James (Jim) Easterday, a life-long Marshall County resident, was born and raised in Culver, Indiana. He pursued his undergraduate degree at the Indiana University School of Business, specializing in Quantitative Business Analysis. Later, he earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from the Indiana University School of Law, Bloomington. Following two years of service in the United States Army as an Adjutant General, he returned to Marshall County where he has dedicated over 50 years to the legal profession, maintaining law offices in Plymouth and Culver.
Jim has an extensive background in various legal domains. He served as the former Public Defender in the Criminal Courts of Marshall County and held the position of Culver Town attorney. Additionally, he was engaged as the attorney for Marshall County municipal government for over 13 years. With a strong emphasis on real estate sales, planning, and zoning around Lake Maxinkuckee, Jim has built a solid reputation for his expertise in general practice, real estate, probate planning and practice, business practice, contracts, personal injury, criminal law, and family issues.
