Jim is a life-long Marshall County resident being born and raised in Culver, Indiana. He received his undergraduate degree from the Indiana University School of Business in Quantitative Business Analysis and received his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from the Indiana University School of Law, Bloomington. After two years serving in the United States Army as an Adjutant General, he returned to Marshall County where he has continued to engage in general practice in Plymouth and Culver offices.
Jim has over 50 years of experience representing clients in general practice. He is a former Public Defender in the Criminal Courts of Marshall County, was formerly Culver Town attorney, and was engaged as the attorney for Marshall County municipal government for over 13 years. He has a strong background in real estate sales, planning and zoning on Lake Maxinkuckee before the Culver authorities and emphasizes general practice, real estate, probate planning and practice, business practice, contracts, personal injury, criminal law, and family issues.
Jim is admitted to practice before all State Courts in Indiana and is admitted in the U.S. Federal Courts in the Northern District and the Southern District of Indiana. He is also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court. He is a member of the Marshall County, State of Indiana, and American Bar Associations.
Lindsay is a proud native of Marshall County, having been raised in the countryside outside of Bourbon. Lindsay began her legal career with a prestigious clerkship at the Indiana Commercial Courts, where she gained insight into business and commercial litigation, procedures, and outcomes. After completing her clerkship, Lindsay joined Easterday & Associates (formerly Easterday Houin LLP) and ,since then, has been actively engaged in the general practice of law.
Lindsay’s experience is broad and has included: criminal defense, Chapter 7 bankruptcy, family law, civil litigation, real estate matters, estate planning and administration, contracts, business and commercial law, and appeals. She has formerly served on the Marshall County Community Corrections Board and the Argos Plan Commission. Her comprehensive background has equipped her with a diverse set of legal knowledge and skills.
Lindsay believes in a personable approach with her clients, the importance of building relationships, and attention to detail. Her current practice is focused on the areas of contracts, business practice, real estate, estate planning, and estate administration.
She resides with her family in Marshall County.
Michelle was born in Indianapolis and has lived in Plymouth since she was 12 days old. Michelle graduated from Plymouth High School and then went on to earn an Associate’s Degree in business from Ancilla College. Michelle and her husband have 3 children and 3 grandchildren. Michelle is also a former board member and Treasurer of the Marshall County REMC Operation Round-up.
Barb has been the face of our Culver office for over 30 years. She was raised in the Argos / Marshall County area and, except for a short time in Alaska, has lived here for most of her life. Barb acts as receptionist in our Culver office and is active in the Culver community including the Culver Lions Club and assisting her adult daughter in many activities at Ancilla College.
Mechelle has lived in Plymouth, Indiana for most of her life and graduated from Plymouth High School. She graduated from Ancilla College in 2001 with an associate’s degree in Liberal Studies. Michelle and her husband have two children.
